Normally, Florian would write this blog entry, but due to some negative changes in our schedule, he is not in such a good mood and is afraid that he is not able to write anything positive ;) I think he will recover very soon and take up the roll as an author again :D
So on Friday we went to school to have a meeting with Edgar. We didn’t really know why we had a meeting, but we were hoping to have the chance to discuss our schedule with him. As it turned out, it was a meeting with all exchange students. We are like 16, but I believe only 10 came. The ones that were at the meeting besides Flo and me were all Colombians though (from Calí and other places here in Colombia). So Edgar introduced some rules etc, and then everyone received a small gift, besides Flo and me. We received a whole gift bag ;) special treatment for European exchange students. It included all kind of different things. Really cool, and very nice of them.
Afterwards we received our student card (ahahah first of all, our pictures were quiet horrible in the first place – we made them pretty much ‘on the street’ – and now they are even worse, because they are out of proportion to fit the university ID card. Florian and me just gained like 50kg on those pictures ;)
And then Florians favorite topic: our schedule. First of all, Edgar said that it is only possible to take 6 classes. It is the max and no student can take more. Well, Flo and I wanted to have 7, but so far we had 5… So in order to attend the 6th class, they had to change our schedule completely in order to squeeze us into the missing class. As the class was already full, it meant that we got separated and our schedules are different from each other now. But well, we still have some classes together.
Then of course, nearly all of our classes are now in Spanish, and they couldn’t tell us which ones are in English ;) So Edgar said we should just try out our schedule the way it is (concerning the spanish classes) and if we find out it doesn’t work, we should come back on Friday and possible changes can be discussed. It is definitely an acceptable proposal.
Later during the day, the coordinator of International Business from Poli called me and told me that it may be possible to add another class in English, but she needs to consult Edgar beforehand to discuss whether we are allowed to take 7 classes instead of the max of 6 ;) jajajaja …. so let s see what is going on next week ;)
Ah and I will upload some pics from my apartment on facebook ;)
So happyness is a 100% spanish feeling?
