Monserrate

Hey everyone! 

I am sorry that the posts have become a little less frequent. University and Spanish classes took up most of my time. Now I finally finished my Spanish class last Wednesday and I suddenly have all the time in the world, as I have every afternoon off :)

 But besides that, the second reason why I am not using the time to post in this blog, is because I am still working on the e-book for my e-commerce class (about my experience here in Colombia), which is pretty exhausting to make on my little notebook. For these cases I wish I took my real computer, but well… instead I stay longer at Poli and use the iMacs that the university has for the media students. It makes more fun to design and do all these things on a Mac :P

In one week is semana santa. Finally, we have a week off to relax (even though one could say that it is like a study week because we have our next tests the week after), but I really don’t mind. I hope I can prepare everything next week and then enjoy semana santa as much as possible :)

Moreover, many of you have heard that my cell got stolen… which was pretty stupid of me and absolutely my own fault. I went home very late with one of the little crowded buses, and it was so packed and I had my cell in my jacket with an open pocket… I didn’t even recognize that it got stolen until I came home and I couldn’t find it anymore. After Anna called and another woman picked up, it was pretty clear that I won’t get it back anymore… But ey, that is the reason why I took two very old phones. So even though it was a bit annoying because I didn’t have all the numbers anymore, it could have been worse, and now I know how quickly it goes.

 I hope I learned from my mistake and this will not happen another time.

Two weeks ago, I finally made it to the mountain Monserrate, from where you can overlook part of the city. It is pretty nice and the city looks so quiet and peaceful from up there. In total, it is 3,152 meters above sea level, so I did not walk up, but took the finical up. ;)

Okay, now I wish you all a very nice weekend. And I should finish my e-book within the next week, so it will hopefully not take me another month to post updates ;)
