This is unbelievable

Hey everyone,
Partials are over and the weekend is finally here. Except for having all partials last week, one of my tests got postponed to this week. Therefore I tried to use the time to study a bit more and now I can finally write a new post.
Actually, first of all, I’d like you all to pleeeeease answer the ‘question’ on the left side. This blog became part of my e-commerce project and I need as many votes as possible. So I’d highly appreciate it if you vote for that as often as possible. The more often- the better ;) Thanks in advance !!!
So yes, what has happened in the last few weeks? Ah yes, last weekend I went to a festival with some local artists, a Mexican group, Train and Shakira. It was so much fun, especially as the weather was just beautiful. After all the rain and grey days, we had just amazing weather last weekend. So in total, it was just a great day. Good music, fun people, and good weather. Besides the music, they had a lot of commercial going on and we even got free shakira t-shirts (so no worries, I didn’t buy it :D I am not that crazy yet).
Now the parties here are also tons of fun. It is just always tough to decide where to go, because there are sooooo many places to go. So you can go and pay like nothing, or pay a fortune ;) whatever you feel like. And you can find any music that you like… okay most of you know where to find me anyway.
Coming Monday, we actually have a vacation day and therefore Florian is leaving with his host family to some city a couple hours away from Bogotá for the weekend, while I am just waiting for Anna and Ceasar to come over to my place, because Anna is staying with me for the weekend (she is moving from her first place to another apartment and needs a place to stay). So fine with me, I love that :)
So on Wednesday I had to write my ‘Financial Systems’ exam (completely in Spanish). Well of course, as the teacher doesn’t speak English, it is clear that I don’t have a choice but to try to do my best with my Spanish. Now, I asked the teacher though, if I could use google translate on my laptop, because that is how Florian was able to write his exam in Spanish, and my teacher said that is fine, no problem. Oh my, I was so relieved.
… okay next thing, I am sitting in the exam and my teacher actually tells me that no one is allowed to use a laptop. So I asked again, and told him that is solely for google translate, but NOOOO.
Gosh, I was so angry. I understand if he had told me that it is not okay to use the translator on my laptop in the first place, but now he first says yes and then in the exam he tells me no? I didn’t feel like that was fair. But well, I of course didn’t bring a dictionary with me, and I really had a lot of trouble understanding many words. I needed to guess their meaning and just try my best, but I didn’t have a good feeling at all.
So today we received the exams back and it is soooo unbelievable. God really meant it good with me, because I actually really passed. Unbelievable. And the dear Diego liked to tease me all class because I had such a bad feeling, but he didn’t say a word and when I got it, he was like: ‘Aahahah I already knew it but I wanted to see your reaction!’ okay I couldn’t be angry with him ;)
Gracias a dios!
So I also wanted to write so much more about Colombia etc, but as this entry should not get too long and I actually need to write an e-book for e-commerce, I will put it in there and publish my book (no worries, it will be like 4 pages or so) here soon ;)
Be safe, muchos saludos, Dana
Ps.: Don’t forget to vote ;) THANKS !!!
